Xendo is offering high-throughput biomarker analysis by installing the Immulite 2000 immunoassay analyzer

The Immulite 2000 is a continuous random access analyzer with a throughput of 200 tests per hour. The system is fully automated allowing several components to be analyzed in a single sample. Components are analyzed using antigen-coated polystyrene beads as the solid phase, to which the sample and reagents are added. The bead is dispensed from a bead kit into a reaction tube, which serves as the vessel for incubation and washing. A photomultiplier detects the signal developed by the sample.

The Immulite 2000 offers the ability of measuring samples with a process time between 35 and 65 minutes. There are 24 resident assays available such as reproductive endocrinology, inflammation markers, diabetes and thyroid function.
