TI Pharma project on metabolic stability of NCE's takes off

17 September 2007

Official start of the TI Pharma project D2-102

We are happy to announce the official start of the project D2-102 “Metabolic stability assessment as a new tool in the hit-to-lead selection process and the generation of new lead compound libraries”.

The aim of the project is to come to innovative and state-of the art validated analytical technologies to assess the metabolic instability and its mechanism of action for hit-to-lead test compounds, the chemical identity of the formed metabolites, their potency towards the target of interest combined with novel production methods of the metabolites and other NCE’s based on humanized BM3 cell mutants.

Team members in this TI-Pharma project are N.V. Organon, Stichting Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen, the Free University of Amsterdam and Xendo Drug Development
