Clinical pharmacology of chiral compounds – an expertise of Xendo

19 March 2007

Xendo Drug Development B.V. is a leading participant within the Ultimate Chiral Technologies consortium (UCT). This consortium (www.UCTchiral.com) focuses on further developing expertise in chiral science and technology, in combination with DSM Pharma Chemicals (www.dsm.com), Syncom (www.syncom.nl) and two major Dutch Universities (Groningen and Nijmegen).

With Xendo’s highly specialized clinical and bioanalytical resources for studies with chiral compounds and the integration of Xendo into the UCT consortium, Xendo Drug Development is the ideal place to conduct phase I and IIa studies in order to obtain a more fundamental insight in the pharmacology of your chiral compounds.

We can offer specific expertise on in-vivo autoracemisation, enantioselective metabolism and enantioselective protein binding and the mechanisms that enable these features.

It is possible for you, our customer, to also benefit from our consortium assets, since our knowledge may assist you in decision-making processes and in setting up a product development programme for a chiral compound, hence giving you more cost-efficient and timely study results.

Please contact Xendo Drug Development’s managing director Jaap Wieling if you have an interest in joining or submitting your chiral development needs.
